1. Install the SmartStick Agent
Download the Agent for your operating system from the Agent page and install it. The Agent listens on https://127.0.0.1:43621 and is discovered by the web app after you pair it with a short-lived token.
2. Create a SmartStick
Open Create and follow the six-step wizard: connect, choose an experience, pick a model, tune performance, set security, review. The Agent revalidates the drive immediately before formatting and stops if the drive identity changes.
3. Add knowledge (optional)
Build a knowledge package in the Knowledge page — PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, CSV, HTML. Indexing runs on the Agent; the encrypted vector index lives on the SmartStick.
4. Run it anywhere compatible
Plug the SmartStick into any Windows, macOS, or Linux computer that meets the model's requirements and launch the SmartStick Assistant. An OpenAI-compatible local API is available on the configured port.
